Membership of St. Oswald's Centre is open to everyone. Whether you live in the local catchment area or further afield, there is a membership option for you — and for community groups and organisations too.
Membership Options
Ordinary Membership
£10 / year- Voting rights at AGMs and general meetings
- Reduced rates on hiring our spaces
- Regular updates on projects and events
Open to residents aged 16+ within our local catchment area. A non-voting option is also available — simply don't complete the payment step.
Associate Membership
Free- Attend meetings and community events
- Receive regular updates and news
- Your input is welcomed and valued

Our catchment area covers the streets and neighbourhoods immediately surrounding St. Oswald's Centre in Bruntsfield, Edinburgh. If you're unsure whether you qualify, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
Yes. Community groups and organisations are welcome to join as Associate Members. This gives them access to updates and the opportunity to participate in meetings and events at the centre.
Ordinary Members can vote at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and any extraordinary general meetings. This includes electing board members, approving annual accounts, and making decisions about the future direction of the centre.
If you live in the catchment area but do not wish to vote, you can become a non-voting Ordinary Member at no cost. Simply complete the sign-up form but do not proceed with payment. You will still receive updates and be welcome at events.
Young people under 16 are welcome to join as Junior Members. Junior Members can attend events and activities, though they do not hold voting rights at formal meetings.
Yes, postal applications are welcome. Please write to us c/o Eric Liddell Centre, 15 Morningside Road, Edinburgh, EH10 4DP and we will send you a membership form.
